Woodley Park ACE hardware

General Manager: Bonnie Boyd

Meet Bonnie Boyd, store manager at Woodley Park Ace Hardware!

Bonnie Boyd started working for A Few Cool Hardware Stores in 2013 as a store associate at Logan Hardware and shortly thereafter, as a lead associate at Woodley Park Ace. In 2015 she joined the team at 5th Street Ace as Assistant Store Manager, where she enjoyed a short stint before her promotion to store manager at Woodley Park Ace in January 2016. Bonnie utilizes her creativity as an art school graduate to help manage the store, using problem solving games as a teaching tool to help her team improve their customer service. She loves coming to work every day for the people, the sense of community, and the beauty found within the neighborhood.  Her love of problem solving and DIY projects make her a perfect addition to the team.

Woodley Park Ace opened in November 2012 on Connecticut Ave NW, next to the Woodley Park Metro Station. The 3,800 square foot "express model" store boasts over 20,000 products from every department, including basic hardware, lighting, plumbing, lawn and garden, live goods, and in store services.
